Why i make music
Add textI grew up during a time when we had family and friends get togethers and when anyone saw the big group of people together, they knew exactly what was going on because music was the center of the whole thing. During that time, you'd see people dancing and doing the latest dances or even making up a dance to songs. Doing group dances like the electric slide or the Smurf(who remembers that dance) and even doing a soul train line. There were people laughing, talking to each other, and kids playing and dancing too. During that time, we had music that was fun and a lot of it talked about life, love, or sometimes nothing at all. It would be just a great vibing song. Today we have little to no music that evokes the feelings we had during those times. The feelings or excitement, laughter, fun, and just feeling good inside. Plus were missing those songs that educated people on life and life situations. Today a lot of music is so serious or about personal edification and self-praise. If it isn't that then a lot is about females spreading themselves wide open and dancing as explicit as they can or the degradation of women. Where are all the fun songs? Today we have a handful of songs by some that come close and I applaud those artists that made them. But we use to have hundreds of fun songs from hundreds of artists. My aim is to put as much fun back into music as I can by focusing on the people listening to it. I will be making songs about my life experiences but will also have fun with it and make songs that are just fun as well. I want to build a community that wants to get back to those awesome moments we use to have with music being the connecter. Because GREAT MUSIC CREATES GREAT MOMENTS!!!
